all OTK decks, and Infernities is quite possibly the most busted out of the lot, even though we don't have Trishula in the TCG they are causing a massive stir and an impossible amount of plays to come out of a single deck, the ability to syncro summon for level 9 monsters repeatedly without any real trouble is completely disgusting (for want of a better word) and whats more the combo can be started with a small amout of cards just dump the hand to the grave and you open up an insane amount of combos that are damn near impossible to stop, unless you can do a whole bunch of damage without them being able to react or if you activate solemn at a brilliant time, and even then you cant stop the whole combo ...

i am seriously considering maining Dark Imprisoning Mirror and a bunch of other anti Dark Cards just because this deck is going to be spammed like mad, it is going to take a lot of top spots everywhere, lower decks just don't stand a chance unless you are a very good player

i personally hope there is a mid format ban this time, i don't want another 6 months of OTKs and shizz like that

Macro decks stop Infernities.

dont forget the frogs... they have way too much support aswell... they can do lv9's really easily + they just lock u down all the time aswell...

This is why some cards should be limited upon release, Infernity Launcher is a perfect example, as three of them forces us to hope to draw sidedecked DD Crows or get OTKed by badly designed cards.

They are. Getting a couple wouldn't hurt.

Are all the Infernity monsters dark? I usually expect a couple random earth and water ones with a set of monsters.

Yeah, they're all dark.

Veil of Darkness could be a pretty good card for them, dumping shizz loads of them in the grave and you can just set or activate any spell or trap you draw with it.

It's not really, depends when you're using it, I'm running 2 in my Ritual deck for draw power and to dump Djinns.

And I think i'll get some Consecrated Lights then! Possibly a Side deck staple for any non-dark deck I think.

Untested yet, I've only got about 13 cards for the deck at the moment.

Deffinantly will be siding Consecrated light and shizz like that, might have a confliction with my deck but will be siding stuff like that anyway, Dark Imprisoning Mirror as well

Gift of Greed Maybe? effectivly acts as Skill Drain for them

haha, Chainsaw Insect all the way man!

Bistro Butcher will be more helpful than Chainsaw Insect if you want to make them draw, just power him up a bit.

Not side deck staple, but a card you could consider for side deck.

And stop trying to make Infernities draw cards, just play Skill Drain!

Skill Drain doesn't stop their spells and traps working though.

Nah Skill drain is much more versatile anyway, most of their spell and trap cards are about dumping their hand away throwing monsters at the grave and stuff and without the monster effects they can't spam massive syncro monsters, making it much easier to run them down

2x Kycoo the Ghost Deystroyer (got no D.D. Crow)
2x Dimensional Fissure
1x Consecrated Light

along with the other stuff that takes out other decks this format (blackwings, Machina etc)
